The Holy Bible

is the focal point of what we read, share, discuss, and study in the Choose Freedom Support Group. The Word of God is pivotal in the healing process.

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.  Hebrews 4:12

Choose Freedom Workbook

The Choose Freedom Support Group Workbook is specifically designed to address abuse and God’s healing in a modified 12 step format. It is not recommended to be used outside of the support group setting. View the table of contents to see the topics we cover. There is also a Spanish version of this workbook.

I Don’t Want to Remember

I Don’t Want To Remember is the written testimony of Janet Chiefari (pseudonym Diane Crawford). She writes in her introduction: “This book tells the story of how I was healed; how God picked me up and carried me through the process of restoration; how He taught me that happiness, trust, and peace are possible; how He made me whole and set me free!”

“Janet Chiefari’s book is a penetrating and personal testimony of the devastation of sexual abuse. While the journey inward is not always pretty, it is the only road to freedom. Janet shows us the hope, healing, and wholeness that can come through God’s Word, graciously applied by His Spirit. To read I Don’t Want To Remember is risky, but the reward far outweighs the risk. I joyfully recommend it.” – Rex Keener, Senior Pastor Grace Fellowship Church

Please be careful and always compare what you read with Holy Scripture to determine it’s value and truth. We pray the Holy Spirit will guide you in all truths.
